NMSU Foundation and NMSU Alumni Launch Partnership with NMSU Athletics’ Goal Line Club for Fall Tailgates

The New Mexico State University Foundation and NMSU Alumni today announced a new partnership with NMSU Athletics and the Goal Line Club, the official fundraising arm of Aggie Football, to team up for fall football tailgate events. This collaboration boosts financial support for the football program while giving NMSU alumni, families, and fans meaningful ways to rally behind the Aggies as they compete in Conference USA.

By joining the Goal Line Club, NMSU alumni and friends can gain access to all six Goal Line Club home-game tailgates and away-game watch parties. Tailgates are exclusive to members only and begin three hours before kickoff in the Pan American Center parking lot (corner of Stewart and Arrowhead Streets). Membership starts at $125 annually, and base-level benefits include two credentials for access to all home-game tailgates. Additional benefits are included for increased giving levels. Children 12 and under are admitted free with members.

The sole purpose of the Goal Line Club is to provide the New Mexico State Football program and its head coach the necessary funding for student-athletes to be successful on and off the field. Gifts to the Goal Line Club are strictly used for the purpose of supporting New Mexico State Football, and funds are used at the discretion of the head football coach to strengthen recruitment, travel, and overall competitiveness.

“As the cost of staying competitive continues to rise, the Goal Line Club gives Aggie fans a direct way to invest in the success of our football program, on and off the field,” said Mayra Marquez, assistant vice president for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at the NMSU Foundation. “For alumni, it’s also a great way to enjoy one of our favorite fall traditions—football!”

“The GLC is more than a tailgate, it’s a powerful way to directly support our student-athletes and help elevate Aggie football,” said Amber Burdge, NMSU’s interim athletic director. “This support from the NMSU Foundation and NMSU Alumni will further bring our community together to celebrate, connect, and invest in the future of our program. When we unite behind our team and ride for the brand, we create the momentum needed to shape a championship culture, on and off the field.”

Each home tailgate features food, drinks, activities, and appearances by Aggie coaching staff. For more information about the Fall tailgate events or to join the Goal Line Club, visit https://alwaysanaggie.org/donate/goal-line-club/. Individual game tickets go on sale in August.
