The NMSU Foundation will host the second episode of its Always An Aggie LIVE! Webinar Series on May 5 from noon to 1 p.m. MT, featuring a conversation titled “The Sound of Aggie Pride.” 

This virtual event will spotlight the Pride of New Mexico Marching Band and its role in NMSU traditions, campus culture and alumni pride, while exploring how participation in music and the arts helps students develop transferable skills such as leadership, teamwork, discipline and communication. 

The webinar will feature band alumnus Mike Cano ’92, a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major and former leader of the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, with Christine Trujillo ’90 serving as moderator.
