On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the NMSU Foundation will host a special reception to celebrate the unveiling of the Shari Jones Conference Room at the Pan Am Center, honoring alumna Shari Jones ’80 ’81 for her lasting impact on New Mexico State University.

A proud Aggie and dedicated champion of both athletics and academic excellence, Shari has shaped the future of NMSU through her generosity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the Aggie community. The naming of the Shari Jones Conference Room recognizes her enduring legacy and the meaningful role she continues to play in advancing the university’s mission.
