Aggie Remembrance Day 2026

Celebrate the Lives, Honor the Memories

On Friday, May 1, Student Involvement and Leadership Programs (SILP) will host Aggie Remembrance Day, a heartfelt celebration of life honoring members of the NMSU community whose lives and legacies continue to inspire us.

The ceremony begins at 5 p.m. in the third-floor ballroom of the Corbett Center Student Union on the Las Cruces campus. Families, friends, students, faculty and staff are invited to gather in community to reflect, share memories, and celebrate the impact of those honored.

Aggie Remembrance Day honors the lasting contributions of the NMSU community while offering connection and comfort to family members and loved ones. The program includes guest speakers, a reading of the names, and a special tribute marked by the ringing of the memorial bell — a symbol of remembrance, gratitude, and enduring Aggie spirit. Light refreshments follow provided by the NMSU Foundation.
